Texas State routinely conducts surveys to collect information used in planning and decision-making and to identify opportunities for improvements to programs and services. Listed below are major surveys which the Office of Institutional Research administers or assists with participation. Texas State's undergraduate alumni survey collects feedback from recent alumni about their educational experiences, current employment, educational activities and future plans.
Undergraduate Alumni Survey results and information (Access is restricted to faculty and staff)
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board tracks graduates, completers and non-returns from an academic year for employment and/or additional education; reports are available in their Automated Student and Adult Learner Follow-Up System Exit Cohort Reports.
Collects data about educational experiences, current employment, educational activities and future plans of recent graduates.
Graduate Alumni Survey results and information (Access is restricted to faculty and staff)
Collects data about entering college students' high school academic and co-curricular experiences, as well as their expectations for participating in educationally purposeful activities during the first college year.

Texas State administered the Campus Climate Survey in 2017 to better understand students' perceptions of the climate for diversity and campus safety. View results from the 2017 Campus Climate Survey.
The Study on Collegiate Financial Wellness is a multi-institutional survey of college students that examines the financial attitudes, practices and knowledge of students from two- and four-year higher education institutions across the United States via an online survey administered by the Center for the Study of Student Life and College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University.

Collects data about student participation in programs and activities that are provided for their learning and personal development. The results provide an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college.
