Susan rejoined the Institutional Research staff as a Research Analyst in January of 2005 after focusing on student affairs research in the Vice President for Student Affairs Office from 1997 through 2004. Susan previously spent four years in IR, from 1993 to 1997.

Susan’s main focus in the IR office is to assist staff with developing survey instruments and coordinate administrative survey projects. She also provides support to the enrollment management program, working with the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing and enrollment management staff to provide data used in setting enrollment targets, enrollment forecasting, recruitment, and other enrollment management activities.

Susan has experience in assessment of student services and programs, survey design and analysis. She has served on numerous University committees, including current service on the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Research Subjects and a term as Chair of University Staff Council in 2001-2002. She is an active member of the Association for Institutional Research and the Texas Association for Institutional Research and regularly makes presentations at both organizations’ annual conferences.

Susan holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Applied Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Anthropology from Texas State University.
